  1. What is MapGigs?

     

    MapGigs is a new comprehensive gig mapping website that introduces its members to the world of the traveling musician. From genre and date specific venue mapping to free open mic nights along your route, MapGigs site takes the guesswork out of touring.

  2. How do I map gigs?

    Simply plug in your start and end locations, genre, capacity and desired travel dates and the system generates a map displaying venues unique to your preferences.

  3. How do I map the best route?

    The map features the most efficient direct route, minimizing fuel costs and environmental impact and appealing to those who prefer environmentally friendly, or “green”, touring.

  4. How do I buy more credits?

    If you are already a member, login to your account and choose which credit bundle you would like to purchase. As a registered member, your credit card information will be on file, which will allow you to move quickly through the purchase process. If you are not a member, sign-up and select the credit bundle that works best for you.

  5. How do I view my saved gigs?

    After login, go to your MyGigs page to view your saved gigs. From your MyGigs page you can also view/print venues, view/print directions, view/print map, take/store notes and much more.

  6. How do I edit my tour?

    After login, go to your MyGigs page and select the tour you wish to edit. Then click the “Edit” link on the right.

  7. What do the “Travel” and “Gig” status options mean?

    Select the “Travel” option for travel days so that no venues will be populated. Select the “Gig” option for non-travel days and available venues will be populated.

  8. Can I cancel my membership at any time?

    While you can cancel your membership at any time, if you cancel your membership, your entire account will be deleted including all stored tour information. You will no longer receive MapGigs newsletters, tour tips, updates or free open mics. You can read our full Cancellation Policy here.

  9. Can I get a cash refund?

    While we do not offer cash refunds, you may qualify for site credit if you encounter one of the following problems: 1) the venue doesn’t offer your genre of music, 2) the venue doesn’t have live music, or 3) the venue's phone number is incorrect. In order to qualify for credit reimbursement, submit your request within 5 business days of purchase through the yellow “Report Venue Error” exclamation link under the venue’s “Notes” section.

  10. Will previously purchased venues show in a new search?

    Yes, MapGigs automatically lists previous purchased venues so you will never pay for the same venue twice.
